In Memory Of
Judy K. Shaughnessy
1947 - 2013
Judy was an incredibly strong woman who was loved and admired by many. She enjoyed gardening, canning and the occasional trip to the casino but her greatest joys in life were raising her grandson Justin, going on fishing adventures with her husband Danny and spending time with her sisters playing cards or dice. She had a deep love for her family, both biological and the many that adopted her as their own. She was Judy to a lot that knew her but to so many she was mom or grandma and in that is where she found a great sense of pride.
Judy is survived by her husband Danny (Elk City KS) daughters Patty Baldwin (Jeremy Tull) and JerriJo Leonard; sons Teddy (Bobbi Jo) Kleiner and Tommy Kleiner, all of Topeka; sisters Elsie Miller, Alice Derry, Darlene Alexander and brother Bobby Rignell as well as 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Judy will be welcomed home to glory by her parents Nils and Nelma (Springer) Rignell, son Randy Lee Rignell, granddaughter Jessica McCall and sisters Ann Scarborough and Ellen Linderman.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
