Zazle Joy Marken Billings Fabert, 78, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011.
She was born November 19, 1932 in Eskridge, KS, the daughter of Laverne and Viola (Ross) Marken. She was a graduate of Harveyville High School.
She was a member and Past-Worthy Matron of the Dover-Nina Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Zazle married Richard D. Billings December 28, 1950. To that union were six children who survive, Jan (Mel) Jones, Peggy (MikeTurpin) Billings, Dixie (Don) Wells, Richard L. (Bonnie) Billings, Kathy (Ray) Pullen, William (Nancy) Billings; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and a sister, Gladys (Wayne) Bloomfield. She married Melvin Fabert. He preceded her in death. She is also survived by 3 step-children, Jerry, Dennis and Steve Fabert
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister and a step-son.
Funeral ceremonies will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. Interment will follow at Burlingame Cemetery.
