Wynona Blackburn Seward, 86, Topeka, died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Aldersgate Village.
Wynona was born January 13, 1929 in Picher, OK, to Thomas P. and Ruth Z. (Hazel) Blackburn. She attended Washburn Rural High School and graduated from Clarks School of Business.
Wynona married Kenneth W. Kelly on April 1, 1944 in Emporia. They were divorced. She married James K. Bower. They were divorced. She married Bill J. Seward on August 13, 1965 and they were divorced in 1990.
She retired from Cable Spinning Equipment Company, Inc., in 1978 and was involved in the cattle business for a number of years. She lived in Oklahoma and Texas several years after retiring from the cattle business and returned to her home in Topeka until her death.
She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church, the Women of the Moose, American Legion Auxiliary, Active Prime Timers and Eastern Oklahoma Woodcarvers.
Wynona is survived by a son, Kenneth W. Kelly, Jr; daughter, Kathleen R. Callaway, both of Topeka; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and brother, James T. Blackburn, Topeka.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
