Winsome H. Mason, 91, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Midland Hospice House.
She was born October 23, 1918 in Randolph, VT, the daughter of George A. and Glenna (Cushman) Bruce.
Winsome married Henry E. Mason on April 3, 1943. He preceded her in death on August 29, 1996. Survivors include four daughters, Bonnie (Ronald) Pelkey, Sheila Mason, Jackie Lynne Mason all of Barre, VT and Sally (David Trask) Martin, Topeka; five sons, Bruce (Kathleen), Larry (Brenda), Stephen (Kathy), Alan (Jan) Mason all of Topeka and Peter (Janet) Mason, Scottsdale, AZ, 25 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 5 siblings.
Mrs. Mason was cremated. Memorial ceremonies will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. Inurnment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery, Washington, VT. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
