Wilma Smith, 75, Topeka, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016.
She was born August 22, 1941, in Atchison, Kansas, the daughter of Berton and Wilfred (Cress) Garrison.
Wilma was a nutritionist at Stormont-Vail Hospital for several years, retiring in 1998.
Wilma married Larry Lee Smith, Sr. on October 12, 1958 in Topeka, Kansas. He preceded her in death on August 13, 2011. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Katy Smith and grandson, Colt Daniels.
Survivors include her children: Debbie (Richard) Kershner-Leonard, Pamela (Ronald) Smeltzer, Larry Lee (Cathy) Smith, Jr., Sherry (Jamie) Levret, Teresa (Israel) Galvan and Tammy Kellner; sisters: Carol Wilmouth, Lily Wade and Virginia Lungsford and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm., Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
