Wilma Jean Doerr, 79, Topeka, died Wednesday, March 17, 2004, at Peggy Kelly House in Topeka. She was born Dec. 22, 1924, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Otha Leo and Bertha Blanche Seldon Crisp. She moved to Topeka in February of 1987. Mrs. Doerr worked in the financial departments of business in Emporia and Denver. She was a member of the Church of Christ and American Business Women's Association. She married Adrian T. Doerr. They divorced. Survivors include a son, Thomas E. Doerr, Silver Lake; a daughter, Adrienne Freeman, Fort Worth, Texas; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Doerr will lie in state at the funeral chapel after 2 p.m. today, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to Peggy Kelly House Office, 1800 S.W.
