Willis Ringen
Willis E. Ringen, 80, passed away May 12, 2011 in Topeka, Kansas. Willis was born July 12, 1930 near Summerfield, Kansas. He was a high school vocational agricultural educator and instructor for Kansas State Rehabilitation Center for the Blind. Survivors include his wife, Doris Ringen, Topeka; children, Terry Ringen, Ruskin, Nebraska, Kristi DeForest, Fulton, Missouri and Deron Ringen, Acworth, Georgia; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Monday May 16, 2011 at the New Hope United Methodist Church, Topeka. A funeral ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church followed by a graveside ceremony at 1:30 p.m. at the Beattie Union Cemetery in Beattie, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be given to New Hope United Methodist Church, Sunflower Lions Club and Beattie United Methodist Church. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
