William R. Temple, Sr.

William R. Temple, Sr., 84, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Stormont-Vail Hospital.
William was born on March 24, 1929 in Topeka, Kansas. He worked for over 20 years as a truck driver for Frito-Lay Inc.
William is survived by his wife, Juanita Temple of Topeka; four sons, William R. (Linda) Temple, Jr., Michael (Mary) Temple, Randy Temple and companion Robert, all of Topeka and Allen (Pat) Temple of Wichita. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one son, Kelly Temple.
Funeral ceremonies will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. Interment will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m at the funeral home on the day of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st Street, Topeka, KS 66604.
