William J. (Bill) Lollman (Sr) was born on a farm near Rulo, NE May 9, 1930 to William Tobias Lollman and Minnie T. (Bach) Lollman. He died peacefully at his home early in the morning on January 14, 2022, after a long illness. He graduated from Dawson High School and later achieved the designation of Chartered Life Underwriter. His life long career was that of a life and health insurance agent/broker. He was the founder and operator of Mid-States Insurance Brokerage. He achieved many awards from various insurance companies for sales.
Mr. Lollman enjoyed tending his lawn, horses, and traveling. He and Nancy had many trips in the United States and abroad. He also enjoyed the theatre, concerts, good food and good conversations with family and friends.
Bill married Nancy Krasny in 1976, she survives. He is also survived by his children: William J. (Karen) Lollman (Jr.), Nancy (David) Petro, Carol (Fred) Dunn and Charlotte Ramsay (Darcy Firkins); Grandchildren: Michael (Sarah) Petro; Scott (Susan) Lollman; Christopher Lollman, Colleen Dunn (Nathaniel Smith). Great-grand children: Dallas, Delaney and Paisley Petro. Siblings: Ann (Del) Falsken, Jerry (Judy) Lollman, James (Jody) Lollman; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Marilee (Marvin) Waggoner, brother Kenneth (Karel) Lollman.
Visitation will begin at 12 noon Wednesday, January 19, 2022, followed by funeral services at 1 pm all at First Congregational Church, 1701 SW Collins, Topeka. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
