William "Bill" Joseph Hall, 68, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at his home. He was born August 13, 1947 in Des Moines, IA, the son of William J. and Pearl (Hayworth) Hall.
Bill graduated from Lincoln High School in Des Moines and attended Northeast Missouri State in Kirksville, MO.
He was a member of the Iowa Air National Guard where he retired as First Sgt. Logistics on July 21, 1994 after serving 27 years.
Bill was employed by U.S.D. 501 as Technical Services Manager for over 10 years and previously by the State of Iowa and the State of Kansas in Information Technology Management.
He was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his mother, Pearl Hall of Des Moines, IA, his children, Kristina Samuelson (Dave) of Ames, IA, Eric William Hall of Topeka, his life partner, Kathryn Stroebele of Topeka and many relatives, co-workers and friends.
Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Countryside United Methodist Church where the family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until service time.
Burial will take place in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Des Moines, IA.
