William Holt
William "Keith" Holt 76 of Topeka, died April 4, 2005 at Midland Hospice House. He was born Feb. 5, 1929 in Topeka. The son of William Clarke and Gladys Kortz Holt.
He graduated from Topeka High School in 1947 and attended Pittsburgh State University.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict 1951-1953. He married Shirley Boies on Feb. 14, 1953 she survives.
Other survivors include sons, Bruce and Mike Holt, and daughters Susan Martin and Cindy Holt and five grandchildren.
He worked at Merchants National Bank for 33 1/2 years retiring in 1994. He loved playing golf in his spare time.
He was a member of University United Methodist Church and Downtown Kiwanis. He was named Kiwanian of the Year for 2000-2001. He was a member of the American Legion Capital Post #1 and a volunteer at Doorstep and Dove Tail Shop.
Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sat. April 9,2005 at University United Methodist Church 1621 SW College Ave. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
