William H. Hilbert, Jr., 76, of Topeka, passed away on July 11, 2006 at Midland Hospice House. He was born on July 9, 1930 in Peru, the son of William H. and Stella Finney Hilbert. He was employed by Western Area Supply where he retired. He was a clarinet player in the Arab Shrine Band and a member of Capital Post No. 1 of the American Legion. He married Thelma Seyler. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Robyn Temples, one son, Todd Hilbert, two grandsons, one step-son, two step-grand-daughters and one step-grandson. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Private inurnment will take place in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum.
