William F. Plummer

William F. Plummer, 57, of Topeka died Friday, October 1, 2004 at a Topeka hospital from complications due to leukemia. He was born on December 9, 1946 at Manhattan, Kansas the son of Willard and Katherine Cornelisson Plummer. He graduated from Manhattan High School in 1964. He came to Topeka in 1965. He was employed as a computer programmer in the Department of Labor for the State of Kansas. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. He married Deborah K. Roland on March 5, 1965. She survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Leesa Dowding of Meriden, Ks., Teresa Schnacker of Meriden, Ks. and Karri Quintana of Topeka, eleven grandchildren, his mother, Katherine Eikenhorst of Manhattan, Ks., one brother, Robert Plummer of St. George, Ks., four sisters, Mary Noland of Milwaukie, OR, Martha Powers of Wamego, KS., Sandra Chandler of Manhattan, Ks., Kathy Snyder of Manhattan, Ks. and one half-sister, Twila Holland of Cedar Rapids, IA. Cremation took place. Memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to the Leukemia, Lymphoma Society, 555 N. Woodlan St., Suite 113, Wichita, Ks. 67208-3646. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
