William Bayley Douthett died July 18, 2022 in Topeka, Kansas.
He was born January 30, 1925 in Isabel, Kansas to Roy E. and Bertha B. (Brown) Douthett.
He was in the United States Navy during World War II. He graduated with an accounting degree from Wichita University in 1949.
He spent his career with Mobil Oil.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 76 years, Daisy Douthett; son, Roger Douthett of Wichita, Kansas; daughter Joan Douthett of Jacksonville, Florida; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and two sisters; son Stuart Douthett and daughter Dana Klotz.
Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at First United Methodist Church in the Klasse Chapel, 600 SW Topeka Blvd, Topeka, KS 66603. Please use the south entrance.
