William D. "Bill" Hill, 47, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
He was born December 13, 1968, in Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia, the son of Winston J. and Gisela (Ruhrmann) Hill. He was a 1988 graduate of New Dorp High School, Staten Island, NY.
Bill was employed by Gray and Company and later for McGivern Painting in Topeka.
He was a member and Road Captain of the Mid West Brotherhood (MWB). Bill designated himself as an organ donor and due to his thoughtful nature, he was able to save the lives of three people who will now carry on his legacy.
Bill married Teresa Combs on May 27, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV. She survives. Other survivors include four daughters, Mendy, Jennifer, Ashley and Payge; five grandchildren, Arista Nicole, Collia Rea, Tessa Kay, Isaac and Isiah; his parents, Winston and Gisela, Maryville, TN and a brother, Thomas Hill, Las Vegas, NV.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Hill.
Bill had the gift to make anyone smile.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be at 3 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2016 at Victoria's Bar and Grill, Topeka and followed by another gathering at 5 p.m., Friday at The Spot Tavern, Topeka.
