William "Bill" R. Cobb, 68, of Topeka, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011.
Bill was born September 8, 1943, in Chadwick, Missouri, son of George W. and Florence O. (Newberry) Cobb. Bill had worked for Essex Wire and Cable.
Bill is survived by his wife, Marcia Cobb, Topeka; daughter, Dawn (Abdel) Hasanin and their children, Rebecca and Yousef, Lee Summit, MO; son, Jason (Kim) Cobb and their children, Brianna, Trinity, and Madison, Topeka; sister, Betty Sanders, Springfield, MO; and brother, James (Chris) Cobb, Las Vegas, NV.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2011, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, Topeka. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Gardens, Topeka. Bill will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2011, at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
