Willard G. Liska, Jr.

Willard G. Liska Jr., 66, Topeka, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2013 at KU Medical Center. He was born on February 5, 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Willard G., Sr. and Dorothy M. (Erbe) Liska.
Willard graduated from Topeka High School in 1965. He was a U.S. Army veteran, stationed in Germany for two-and-half years. On July 19, 1971 he married Nancy Zima. They were married for 35 years. He was a member of Topeka Independent Business Association. Willard owned and operated Custom Cabinet Company in Topeka for over 40 years. He was an avid KU basketball fan.
He is survived by his son, Michael Liska and brother, Donald (Janelle) Liska, all of Topeka, five nieces, Lori, Allison, Becky, Karen and Laura and several extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
