Wilda "Billie" Tholl, 100, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018.
She was born September 14, 1918, in Dubois, Nebraska, the daughter of Lester and Musa (Fearing) Iman.
Billie married Franklin Tholl on September 23, 1935, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He preceded her in death on December 6, 1991.
Billie was co-owner of the Deeter-Tholl School of Music.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, and many Bible studies including BSF and Christian Women's Club. She was a lifetime member and volunteer for Ballet Midwest, Inc. She volunteered for Doorstep, Inc. For 35 years, she was a volunteer at Stormont-Vail Hospital and a member of their Auxiliary.
Billie enjoyed her family, reading her Bible, flower arranging, sewing and cooking.
Survivors include daughters, Janice (Charles-Deceased) Williams, Peggy (Kenneth) Flagler, Barbara (Jerome) Ebert; grandchildren, Tamara Williams, Mark Flagler, Mike Flagler, Debra Stuewe, Stephani Bowne, Lacinda Sandgren; great-grandchildren, Kendalyn, Ethan, Ryan, ALex, Braden, Kaydrinn, William and Tressa.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and a brother.
Family will greet friends Sunday, September 30, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. Funeral service will be Monday, October 1, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at First Church of the Nazarene, 1001 SW Buchanan St., Topeka, KS 66604. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka.
