Wayne M. Casebeer, 66, of Topeka, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015.

Wayne was born on March 3, 1949, Topeka, Kansas to Deane and Leona (Bowen) Casebeer. Graduated from Carbondale High School in 1967. On June 30, 1999, he married Cynthia (Pendergrass) Tate. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, Topeka.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Cynthia; children, Brian (Danielle) Casebeer and Jamie (Jeffrey) Swan; five grandchildren; father, Deane Casebeer; sister, Deanna Hedman; two step-sons, Joshua and Adam Tate; step-daughter, Ruth Cotton; and four step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Leona E. Casebeer, and brother, Allen Casebeer.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th, Topeka.

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 28, 2015, at First Southern Baptist Church, 19th and Gage, Topeka. Burial will follow at Shawnee Center Cemetery, Wakarusa.

Memorial contributions may be given to New Hope Food Pantry, care of First Southern Baptist Church, Topeka.
