Wayde H. Bishop, 51, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016.

He was born June 6, 1965 in Shirley, MA, the son of Wade and Patsy (Spencer) Bishop.

Wayde attended Topeka High School. After high school, Wayde worked in the food service industry, working his way up to a management position.

He enjoyed restoring antique cars, homes and furniture and was a member of the Central Park Home Owners Association. Wayde was known as someone who would always lend a hand, regardless of his situation. He also enjoyed building model ships and aircraft.

Survivors include his mother, Patsy Bishop of Topeka; a brother, Michael Bishop (Dennis Ingraham) of Derry, NH and a sister, Donna Bishop (Bradley Grabauskas) of Topeka; 2 daughters, Haley and Sadie Bishop; 2 nephews, Taymon and Dane Grabuaskas and a niece, Jayden Grabuaskas, all of Topeka.

A celebration of Wayde's life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 S.W. 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604 with private family inurnment in Louisville, KY at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL, 60674.
