Wave Anderson-Mesigh, 97, died Monday, February 5, 2007 at Lexington Park Nursing Home.
She was born January 19, 1910 at Miltonvale, KS, the daughter of Calvin R. Nobles and Kittie Gilchrist Nobles. She moved with her parents to Jamestown, KS in 1912. She married Carl T. Anderson on November 16, 1935 at Rossville, Ks. He preceded her in death on September 9, 1980.
She married J. Charles Mesigh on January 14, 1986. He died December 9, 1991.
Wave was one of the first dental assistants to be certified in Topeka. She retired from Dr. Jerry Wempies office in 1975.
She was a member of Potwin Presbyterian Church since 1952. She was also a lifetime member of Nova Chapter No. 436, Order of the Eastern Star of Overland Park, KS.
Survivors include a son, Don C. Anderson and daughter-in-law, Deanna, of Topeka; three grandsons, two great-grandsons, two step grandsons, and two step great-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 8, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown, KS.
