Wanda Marie Ealy, 89, of Topeka, died on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Midland Hospice House.
Wanda was born on August 13, 1924 in Chillicothe, IL to Cecil and Blanche Beaumont.
She was married to Richard Lynn Ealy in 1951 in Chillicothe, IL; he preceded her in death on June 9, 2000.
As a young lady, she and Richard enjoyed competitive skating. One of her favorite pastimes was to sit at the kitchen table and read her latest romance novel and she loved Bingo night at the Elks Lodge in Amarillo, TX.
Survivors include two sons, David (Dee) Ealy and Kim Ealy, both of Amarillo, TX, two daughters, Jana (Daniel) Bowers and Wendy Ealy, both of Topeka; 6 grandchildren, Chris Renfro, Erin (Jesse) Olguin, Corey (Mike) Calvert, Jessica Mays, Paul Ealy, Seth Philly; 5 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Walker, Olivia, Aviery, and Tori.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Harold and Robert Beaumont, and two sisters, Lucille Beaumont and Audrey King.
Wanda's wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 14, 2014 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka.
