Vivian Rogers

Vivian Rogers, 76, of Topeka, formerly of Carbondale, passed away, Wednesday, January 5, 2004 at Lexington Park in Topeka.

She was born November 22, 1928 in Minneapolis, MN the daughter of Torbjorn and Martha Blegen Kommedahl.

Vivian was an active member of Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene. She was a former member of the Covenant Church in Scranton.

She married Phil W. Rogers. He survives. Other survivors include: three sons, Jim, John and Tom Coffey, two step sons, Jeff and Erin Rogers, 13 grandchildren, two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Monday, January 10, 2005 at Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 pm Monday at the Evergreen Cemetery, Emporia, Kansas. Mrs. Rogers will lie in state after 12:00 noon Sunday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will greet friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Sunday.
