Virginia W. Phillips, 90, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013.
She was born August 16, 1922 in Winchester, MA, the daughter of Frank D. and Sarah (Coleman) Ralphs.
Virginia was employed by the V. A. Hospital in Topeka for 15 years, retiring in 1984.
She was a long-time member of Gage Park Baptist Church in Topeka.
Virginia married George O. Phillips on September of 1955 in Woburn, MA. He preceded her in death on September 21, 1984. Survivors include a son, R. David (Rosemary) Phillips, Topeka; a daughter, Kimberly K. Thompson, Overland Park, KS; three granddaughters, Emily (Ryan) Roberts, Aubrey (Lance) Coufal and Courtney Thompson; and nine great-grandchildren, Parker, Bryce, Rylan, Kale, Lea and Lyric Roberts, Deklin and Deyton Coufal and Ajah Banks.

A funeral ceremony will be 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. Interment will follow at the Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka.
