Virginia Mabel Connell

Virginia Mabel Connell, 86, Topeka, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2003, at a local care facility in Topeka, Kansas. She was born December 31, 1916 in Chicago, ILL the daughter of Arthur J. and Christina Jurgeleit.

Mrs. Connell attended Bowen High School in Chicago, ILL and spent last 11 years in Topeka. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. She married Charles F. Connell, August 26, 1950 in Dolton, ILL. He survives.

Daughter & son in Law: Carol & Harry Heusted Topeka

Son and Daughter in Law: Chuck and Renelda Connell Hoyt

Grandchildren: Jessica Connell and T.J. Wedeking

Cremation is planned. A Memorial service will be held at Monday April 28, 2003 at 9:00AM at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Inurment will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Manor Catre of Topeka, 2515 SW Wannamaker Rd. Topeka, KS 66614 or to the Columban Fathers Fund will can be sent in care of the funeral home.
