Virginia M. Snook

Join us in paying our final respects to Virginia Snook who was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Robert Snook. Virginia was born in Eskridge Kansas and moved to Topeka when she was a young girl. She has lived in Topeka since that time. Virginia worked part-time as a rental property bookkeeper and was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Virginia passed on March 9, 2014 of heart complications. To the very end, Virginia maintained a quick wit and an independent nature. She enjoyed going and doing with her family and friends. Virginia is survived by 3 children and their mates; Dan Bain and Dawn McGlasson, Connie and Ron Blanton and Sherri Snook and John Havard; and her sister, Lois Peterson. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren as well as 9 great grandchildren. Virginia received excellent treatment in her final hours from Midland Hospice and requests donations be made to Midland Hospice in lieu of flowers. An opportunity will be provided to share memories of Viriginia during the service if you desire.
