Virginia Bulla Allen

Virginia (Bulla) Allen, 93, passed away Friday, November 18, 2016, at Manor Care Health Services.
Virginia was born on April 18, 1923, in Uniontown, KS, to Clarence E. and Nancy M. (Schubert) Bulla. She graduated from Fort Scott High School, in 1941 and later attended Huff's Business College. Virginia moved to Topeka in 1944. She worked for Stormont Vail Health as an Insurance Clerk for 40 years, retiring in 1984. Virginia married Harold Clark Allen on April 16, 1955, in Topeka, KS. They were both longtime members of Trinity Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two sons, Earle B. (Peggy) Allen and Jonathan C. (Gina) Allen, both of Topeka; and five grandchildren.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years; parents; brother, D.P. "Bud" Bulla.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Mount Hope Cemetery and Funeral Chapel, 4700 SW 17th Street, Topeka, KS 66604.
