Vineet Kallanagowdar, 19, of Topeka, passed away on March 11, 2018. Born January 12, 1999 in Hubli, India, he was the son of Chandra and Lata Kallanagowdar.
He graduated from Washburn Rural High School and was currently attending Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Vineet enjoyed playing saxophone, talking about politics, scholars bowl and hanging out with family and friends. He loved to read a lot and was passionate about science.
He is survived by his parents and a sister, Gouri Kallanagowdar.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, KS. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
