Vicki Irene Sidhu, 55, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010.
She was born March 20, 1955 in Alliance, Nebraska, the daughter of Richard and Irene Elizabeth (Schwaderer) Lewis. She was a graduate of Alliance High School. She was employed by BNSF since 1979 in Alliance and later in Topeka.
Vicki married Bhupinder S. Sidhu, a friend of 13 years on January 12, 2008 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include her sister, Patti (Herb) Burnett, Park City, MT; her brother, Randal Lewis, Broken Bow, NE; three nephews, Brian Koester, Kyle and Michael Lewis; and two great-nephews, Justin and Kyle Koester.
She loved music, reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
Funeral ceremonies will be 1 p.m., Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. Cremation will follow the ceremony. A memorial ceremony in Alliance, NE will be held at a later date.
