Vern LeRoy Bennett, 75, a longtime resident of Carbondale, passed away, Sunday, August 12, 2007.
He was born November 11, 1931 in Osage City, Kansas the son of Vernon and Mary Juanita Tevis Adolphson.
Vern retired from Essex Wire in 1993.
He was preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Juanita Adolphson and an infant brother.
Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held 10:00a.m., Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Mt. Hope Chapel.
