Vera Hehn

Vera Helm, 84, of Topeka, passed away, Saturday, December 13, 2003 at Stormont-Vail Hospital.
She was born August 30, 1919 at Portsmouth, England the daughter of William and Mabel Handley.
After arriving in Kansas she graduated from Topeka High School. She married William Hehn in September 1944. He preceded her in death September l, 2002.
Vera was an active lifetime member of Grace Episcopal Cathedral. She was also a member of the Topeka Needlework Guild.
She retired from Stormont-Vail Hospital.

Survivors include:
One daughter, Kathy Lambert Topeka, KS
One sister, Gertrude Stephens Topeka, KS
Two granddaughters, Kristine Wheat Lawrence
Julie Lambert Topeka, KS
and five great grandchildren.

Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at Grace Episcopal Cathedral. Inurnment will follow at the cathedral. Memorial contributions may be given to Grace Episcopal Cathedral, or to Stormont-Vail Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Online condolences may be left at www.penwell.com.
