7. Background: Mrs. Taylor was raised in the Erie area, and came to Topeka in 1957 from Parsons, where she
lived for many years. She worked at the American Linen Supply Company in the late 1960's and early 1970's. She
was a member of West Side Christian Church, where she served as an Elder and Sunday School teacher. She also
served as the President of the citywide CWF for 2 years.
