Velda E. Frost, 90, Auburn, died Sunday, March 5, 2004 at an Auburn assisted living home.
She was born July 21, 1913 in Clay Co., the daughter of Earl and Jessie Lewis Macy. She graduated from Clay Center High School.
She married Leon M. Frost who prededed her in death on May 29, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Lewis and George Macy, 3 sisters, Lillus Macy, Velma Nelson, and Joyce Lee.
Survivors include her daughter, Darlene Gutierrez of Topeka, a son, George Frost of Sandy Level, VA, 6 grandchildren, Deborah Gutierrez and Sally Gutierrez-Sedgwick, both of Topeka, Lori Webb of LaCygne, Adrianne Frost of Honolulu, Katherine Frost, and Ben Frost, both of Woodbridge, Va.
Graveside services will be 11:30 am Saturday at Wesleyan Methodist Cemetery, Longford, Ks.
Mrs. Frost will lie in state from 9 am to 9 pm Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
