Una Mae Swanson, 85, of Topeka, passed away, Friday, October 15, 2004.
She was born February 10, 1919 at Chillicothe, Missouri the daughter of Albert and Lena Chappel Plants.
She married Roland F. Swanson May 29, 1935 at Leavenworth, Kansas. He preceded her in death September 5, 2001. Survivors include her son, Roland Swanson and wife Karen, Tecumseh, KS; two daughters, Sylvia Farmer and husband Don, Topeka, KS; and Mary Steir and husband Harvey, W. Simsbury, CT, grandchildren, Donnie and Deana Farmer, Bryce and Blake Swanson, Micheleand husband Roger,Denning and Katherine Steir and great grandchildren Kyle Farmer and Lila Denning.
Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 2004 at Countryside United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be given to the Topeka Rescue Mission, 600 N. Kansas Avenue, Topeka, KS 66608. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
