Tyler Matthew Crouse, 14, Topeka, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016.
He was born August 9, 2002, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Matthew Crouse and Amanda Grame. He was currently a freshman at Silver Lake High School.
He was a member of the North Topeka Baptist Church, where he volunteered and helped with Bible school. Tyler was in band at Silver Lake, enjoyed photography and robotics and had begun a new interest in BMX bike racing. He loved to play his play station 4.
Survivors include his mother, Amanda Grame; his father, Matthew (Tonya) Crouse; four brothers: Brendan, Jacob, Connor, and Soran; his aunts and uncles: Donald (Dana) Myers, Jr., Norman Myers, Tammy (Joshua) Crouse, Crystal (Mike) Hewitt, Amy Moon, Jacob Crouse; his grandparents: Katherine Wilder, Charles Grame, Marlin Crouse and Victoria Hart; and numerous cousins: Morgan Myers, Jordan Myers, Norman Myers, Jr., Sarah Conklin, Jason Nelson, Sierra Mason, Justin Mason, Samantha Crouse, Joshua Crouse, Justice Hess, Liberty Hess, Caidynce Hewitt, Kiah Hewitt, Hunter Moon, Jade Moon, Emerald Gilliland, Dokken Kyle Dean Crouse, Dalylah Kalli-Darcus Crouse, Sierra Rose Crouse, Jewels Taylor Crouse, Jenna Mekayla Crouse, Jacob Alexander Crouse and Elijah Justice Cottrell.
He was preceded in death by his step-brother, Devin Greeve and step-sister, Gabby Greeve.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 26, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Private interment will be at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
