Twila Knight, 93, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2006 at Aldersgate Village. She was born on April 9, 1913 in Garnett, KS, the daughter of Curtis M. and Stella Adams Warbritton. She graduated from Garnett High School. Twila married Charles P. Knight on November 22, 1937 in Garnett. As a Methodist ministers wife, she resided in Pomona, Robinson, Humboldt, Neodesha, Kansas City, Ottawa, Emporia and Coffeyville before moving to Topeka in 1976. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Neodesha Chapter of the P.E.O. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990, her sister, brother and son-in-law. Survivors include two daughters, Diana Sue Steanson of Neodesha, Janie Wolf of Topeka, one son, C. Donald Knight of El Rita, NM, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Klasse Chapel at the First United Methodist Church in Topeka.
