Troy Michel
Troy Arlen Michel, 45, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, June 2 at Midland Hospice House.
He was born November 21, 1959, in Quinter, KS, the son of Dr. Gilbert and Cathi Franke Michel.
He graduated from Newton High School in 1978. He then attended Hutchinson Junior College and graduated in 1980. He joined the Kansas Army National Guard in Newton and served as an infantryman for four years. He then moved to Topeka and was self employed in several occupations. He was an avid reader and enjoyed SCUBA diving. He was a lifelong member of the Lutheran church.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 6 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 W. 10th St., Topeka, KS 66606 with burial to follow on Tuesday, June 7 at Atwood Cemetery in Atwood, KS.
