Tristan Johnson, 18, of Meriden, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017.
He was born October 24, 1998, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Gary A.and Jody A. Johnson.
Tristan was a 2017 graduate of Jefferson West High School and was currently employed by Hoyt's Trucking Service and Repair.
He had also been employed by O'Rielly Auto Parts for several years.
Tristan enjoyed hunting, fishing and basically anything outdoors. He also liked to race RC cars. He was especially fond of his dog Shi.
He is survived by his mother Jody Johnson of Topeka; his brother, Trevor Johnson of Topeka, grandparents Tom and Sharon Stevens of Meriden and Joe and Jane Smith of Topeka as well as grandfather Gary Johnson of Meriden and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tristan was preceded in death by his father, Gary A. Johnson in 2010.
A funeral ceremony will be 1:00 pm., Monday, October 23, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 SW. 10th Ave., Topeka, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
