Travis Tillery, 43, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 24, 2020 in Topeka.

Travis is survived by his wife, Melissa; a daughter, Haley; his parents, Terry and Brad Tillery; a sister, Tricia and brother-in-law, Bob Brown; his father-in-law, Larry Holm; two additional brother-in-laws, two sister-in-laws, four nephews, two nieces and two great nephews.

Travis was born in Baytown, Texas but grew up in Council Grove, Kansas until 1988 when he moved to Topeka.

Travis and Melissa were married on June 2, 2001 at Lake Shawnee in Topeka.

Travis enjoyed watching and cheering his favorite football team the Texas Longhorns. Travis collected eagle statues and model muscle cars. He loved spending time with all his family and taking walks at Lake Shawnee with his family and dogs.

Honoring Travis's request, cremation is planned. A celebration of life will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Lake Shawnee Garden House in Topeka.

Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, KS 66604 is assisting the family with arrangements.
