Travis L. Croswhite, 30, formerly of Topeka, KS, passed away on June 23, 2018 in Wichita, KS.

He was born on May 17, 1988 in Topeka, KS, the son of the Curtis L. Zirkle and Amber Croswhite.

He attended Washburn Rural High School and obtained his GED in 2006. He furthered his education by attending Kaw Area Technical School where received his certificate in Technical Drafting. His goal was to go on and study architecture.

He is survived by his parents, Craig and Amber Croswhite; sisters, Daniella (Kosta) Gregory of Overland Park, KS, Cassity (Brian) Griffin of Gardner, KS, and Alexis Zirkle of Topeka, KS; brothers, Jacob (Jessie) Croswhite of Raymore, MO and Joshua Croswhite of Maricopa, AZ; maternal grandfather Dave Frye and paternal grandfather Larry (Dixie) Zirkle, maternal grandmother Kay (Ray) Moorhead and paternal grandmother Kaylia Zirkle. He is also survived by Aunts, Karie, Wendy, and Tammy; Uncles, Larry and Steve; 13 nieces and nephews and numerous extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis L. Zirkle; maternal grandmothers, Karen Frye and JoAnn Croswhite; and paternal grandfather, Glen Croswhite.

He enjoyed building Legos of all sorts, especially Star Wars Legos. He spent his time enjoying movies and a variety of T.V. shows. He enjoyed playing board and computer games and listening to all types of music, ranging from country to rap. He will be remembered for his smart, witty, and mischievous personality.

The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in the Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel, 17th & Fairlawn. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
