Tony "Chief" English, of Topeka, passed away June 28, 2012.
Tony English was born on May 18, 1958, in Topeka, son of Theodore English and Evelyn LaVow. Tony attended Topeka High School. He worked as the dishwasher at Menninger's. Tony retired from Menninger's after 25 years of service. Following his retirement, he worked at Equi-Venture Farms, LLC, Topeka. Tony is survived by a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn LaVow.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka. Tony will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Chapel, Topeka, where the family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to Equi-Venture Farms, LLC, PO Box 210, Auburn, KS 66402.
