Tod Sharples

Tod David Sharples, 53, of Topeka, passed away, Sunday, July 30, 2006 as a result of an accident in McPherson, Kansas.

Tod was born April 1, 1953 in Topeka the son of Arthur and Arlen Sharples.

Tod spent 34 years as a plumber and Pipefitter operating several businesses with his father in the Topeka area. He was currently a proud member of Plumber's and Pipefitter's Local #441.

He was a former member of the Arab Shrine. Tod was an avid golfer and enjoyed nothing more than playing golf with his family and friends.

He married his soul mate Jacque Evans on May 28, 1993 in Topeka at Lowman United Methodist Church with his sons and family present.

She survives. Other survivors include two sons, David Sharples his wife Jenny, and Tod's beloved grandchildren, Justus and Alexis, and his other son, Cade Sharples all of Topeka; his brother, Chris Sharples and his wife Linda, Americus, KS; his niece, Melissa Sharples and his nephew, Justin Sharples.

Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 4, 2006 at Lowman United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be given to the Shriners Children's Hospital, c/o Arab Shrine, 1305 S. Kansas Avenue, Topeka, KS 66612.
