Timothy "Tim" J. Deckenbach, 41, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021.
He was born August 2, 1980, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Mark Deckenbach and Pam Wachsnicht.
Tim graduated from Topeka West High school in 1998.
Tim was a very talented artist and specialized in creating wolves and other forms of wildlife and nature. He was an avid collector of comic books. He adored his two cats, Rasputin and Luca.
He loved his family and was described by those who knew him as being open hearted and a tender soul..
Tim is preceded in passing by his paternal grandparents, Peter Deckenbach and Judith Johnson, maternal grandfather, Lowell Ellis, and step grandparents, Phyllis Wachsnicht, Russell and Margaret Sovern.
Survivors include parents Mark (Teresa) Deckenbach and Pam (Rod) Wachsnicht, Brother, Dylan Wachsnicht, Grandmother, Coraleen Ellis, Grandfather, Harlan Wachsnicht, and a niece, nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Graveside Service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 1:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society 5720 SW 21st, Topeka, KS 66604-3720.
