Thomas Robert "Ira" Farr, 23, of Carbondale, died Monday, October 16, 2006 at his home.
Ira was born August 1, 1983 in Topeka, the son of Tim and Gerry Cairns Farr. He graduated from Santa Fe Trail High School in 2001 and later received a certificate as a Recording Engineer in Iowa. More recently, he was employed by Wal-Mart and was a proud member of the Patriot Guard and ABATE District 4. Ira enjoyed being a musician and artist.
He is survived by his parents, brother, Robert Clark and wife, Aimee, two sisters, Tymothie and Tanya Farr, three nephews, Robert, Sebastian, and Jessy Clark, grandfather, Thomas Farr, and great grandparents, Betty and Homer Kyle.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 21st at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Interment will follow at Carbondale Cemetery. He will lie in state after 12 noon on Friday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. that evening.
