Thomas "Tom" Wynn Ragsdale, 72, Topeka, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at Stormont Vail Hospital.
Tom was born October 19, 1945 in Tucson, AZ, the son of Elmer and Winifred Ragsdale. Raised by Vernie and Marcella Kliesen from Wright Kansas. He attended Windhorst High School.
He served in the Army National Guard for 6 years.
He farmed in western Kansas and then operated a Limousine service in Oklahoma City for over 20 years.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Tom married Connie Ney on March 20, 1965 in the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Dodge City, KS. Tom was extremely loving and proud of his 4 children and 9 grandchildren, Michelle Higgins and her husband Pat and their two sons Nicholas and Benjamin; Tom Ragsdale and his two sons Randon and Ayden; Jay Ragsdale, his wife Gena and their 3 sons Chase, Preston, and Cole; Jennifer Rund and her husband Brad and their two children Madison (Rund) Gossen, her husband Pate and Brooks Rund.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2017 follow by a visitation until 8:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Private family inurnment will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery in Hanston, KS at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Adoption Services at Catholic Charities, 1232 N. Classen Blvd. Oklahoma City, OK 73106.
