Theresa Johnson

Theresa V. Johnson, 91 of Route 9 in Malta, NY and former Topeka resident entered eternal life on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Saratoga Hospital. She was born on June 19, 1918, in Gerrard, KS and was the daughter of the late Edward and Angela O. Verna Rouviere. Theresa was a house wife and homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard L. "Dick" Johnson, who died June 3, 1989, and a daughter T. Louise Martin.

Survivors include her loving children; Richard L. (Shirley) Johnson, Jr. of Des Moines, IA, Robert J. Johnson of Topeka, KS, Judith A. (Aaron) Falley of Granbury, TX, and Yvonne (George) Couch of Malta, NY; mother-in-law of Harold J. "Jim" Martin of The Villages, FL,; sister of Jacqueline Dugger of Wichita, KS, twelve precious grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren, 5 step-great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be at 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service time. Burial will follow at the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
