Theresa Elizabeth Marlow

Theresa "Audrey" Elizabeth Marlow, 94, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2012. She was born November 9, 1917 in Topeka, the daughter of John R. and Ora B. Rhule Snook. She was a life-long Topeka resident. She was a homemaker, enjoyed baking and had a passionate love for her flowers.

Audrey married Howard Marlow, Sr. on September 27, 1947 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on October 8, 2004. She was also preceded in death by two great-granddaughters, Mollie Jo Marlow, Kirstin Michelle Cathcart, her brother, Robert Snook and her sister, Juanita Glidewell. Survivors include her children, Janice (Charles) Cathcart of Prineville, OR, Warren (Zandra) Marlow of Parsons, KS, Howard (Karen) Marlow, Jr. of Topeka, eight grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and her brother, Jack Snook of Topeka.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Mount Hope Cemetery. Audrey will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
