Theola "Ann" Carder, 85, of Topeka, passed away Mon., Aug. 31, 2009. She was born Jan. 22, 1924, in Lincoln, NE.
Ann was a 1942 graduate of Topeka High School.
Ann married Howard A. Carder on Jan. 22, 1944. They were married for 65 years!
She was a life member of Nebraska American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her son, Micheal (Nancy) Carder; daughter, Kathy Schmidt; 2 grandsons and 7 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Fri., Sept. 4 at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. The family will greet friends Thurs. from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attn: Donor Services, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
