Terrill J. "Terry" McCall Bowen, 72, of Topeka passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010.
Terry was the oldest daughter of James E. and Mildred A. (Neis) McCall. She was born October 28, 1937 in Topeka, KS. She attended Topeka Public Schools and graduated from Topeka High School in 1955. After graduation Terry worked at Nightingale's Dress Shop.
She married James E. Bowen. He preceded her in death January 25, 2003. They had two children, Steven C. Bowen, Houston, TX and Taryn A. Bowen (Mark O'Neil), Brinnon, WA. Terry worked in the Cash Office at Wal-Mart for 27 years. She retired in 2009 due to health reasons.
Terry is survived by her son and daughter, her granddaughter, Maeghan Bowen and grandson, Aaron Bowen, Houston, TX; her sisters, Judy Allen and Linda Chaffin (Frank) and her brother, Jim McCall (Pat) all of Topeka.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at the Mount Hope Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow at the Mt. Hope Mausoleum. Mrs. Bowen will lie in state after 3 p.m., Monday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka.
