Terrie Lee (McKeever) Pyle, 68, Topeka, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023.
She was born November 27, 1954, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Harry and Rose (Patrick) McKeever. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1972 and attended Emporia State University.
Terrie was employed with the Kansas Highway Patrol in the records department for several years, retiring in October 2019.
Terrie loved animals and reading, as well as going on cruises with her husband, Bill. Her happy place was Yellowstone National Park.
On May 29, 1976, she married William Dean Pyle in Topeka. He preceded her in death on January 21, 2022. She was also preceded in death by her son, David Michael Pyle on March 19, 2021 and her mother, Rose on April 10, 2023.
Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Pyle; her father, Harry; two sisters, Nancy McKeever and Janice "JK" (Kelly) Conway; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 11 am, followed by funeral services at 12 noon on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home.
